RAYE FREEDMAN ARTS CENTRE, Auckland, New Zealand

The Raye Freedman Arts Centre consists of an auditorium seating 300 with full stage and back stage facilities, rehearsal space, green room, changing rooms, two drama teaching rooms, two music teaching rooms and eight music practice rooms.  This is a facility shared between a large girls school and the community.

KENNETH MYERS CENTRE, University of Auckland, New Zealand

Originally built in the 1930's, 74 Shortland Street was the home to NZBS Radio, NZBC Television - AKTV2 and South Pacific Television until 1996. This building, from which the first television broadcast in New Zealand was made, is now the location of the University of Auckland's Creative Arts section of the School of Music.

WEL ENERGY TRUST PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE, Hamilton, New Zealand

This multi-award winning Complex was New Zealand's 'Building of the Year' in 2001. It is a 'building of distinction' for the teaching, rehearsal and performance of music, drama, dance and Maori performing arts disciplines. The 3500m² facility is situated on the Hamilton University of Waikato campus.

UNIVERSITY OF AUCKLAND SCHOOL OF MUSIC, Auckland, New Zealand

The project involves a music theatre, a recording studio, practice rooms, lecture rooms, offices and a library - all set on a small site by a busy road and built on a very tight budget. The challenges were extensive.
