BHP APPIN COLLIERY, NSW, Australia

Following the catastrophic collapse of the motor cooling fans on several underground mining pump sets, Marshall Day Acoustics was asked to investigate the reasons for their failure in service. The pumps involved were mounted in sets of three and four on mobile carts, used underground to supply emulsion oil to Longwall mining machinery at BHP Appin Colliery, Appin, NewSouth Wales.

ALBANY ENTERTAINMENT CENTRE, Western Australia

The Albany Entertainment Centre is the result of an extensive planning process between the City of Albany, the Albany community and the Western Australian Government.  The venue will replace the Albany Town Hall Theatre as the premier performing arts space for Albany and the Great Southern.

Chengdu Cultural Centre

We are pleased to have been selected to provide room acoustics design for the new 1,800 seat grand theatre at the Chengdu Cultural Centre, designed by Pritzker prize laureate, Zaha Hadid.
