Chengdu Cultural Centre

We are pleased to have been selected to provide room acoustics design for the new 1,800 seat grand theatre at the Chengdu Cultural Centre, designed by Pritzker prize laureate, Zaha Hadid.

PHILHARMONIE DE PARIS, France

The innovative 2,400 seat concert hall wraps the audience around the stage and features suspended balconies inside a larger volume, attached to the building by access passages, allowing sound to circulate completely around them.

GUANGZHOU OPERA HOUSE, China

Marshall Day Acoustics was selected for this project as part of a rigorous tendering process and the result is a beautiful asymmetrical auditorium design with the acclaimed London based architect, Zaha Hadid, who won the design competition in 2003.

SOUTHERN CROSS STATION REDEVELOPMENT, Melbourne, Australia

On this project, Marshall Day Acoustics was engaged as a design consultant by Leighton Contractors, a member of the Civic Nexus consortium.

Luxury Yacht: HELIOS

Helios, a 37.5 metre (123ft) long luxury yacht built by Fitzroy Yachts of New Plymouth, was commissioned with stringent noise level requirements.

In a marine acoustics market saturated by over specification of noise control treatment using expensive proprietary products, Marshall Day Acoustics were engaged to bring our innovative design experience to the task.

CHRISTCHURCH TOWN HALL, Christchurch, New Zealand

The Christchurch Town Hall is closely bound up with advances in understanding concert hall acoustics in the second half of the 20th century.
