Marshall Day Acoustic's Larry Elliott talks at Reproduced Sound
18 November, 2011
Larry Elliott, a senior associate with Marshall Day Acoustics, has given two papers at this year's Reproduced Sound. One being a retrospective look at the sound design industry, the other looking at the need for diplomacy in acoustic consulting.
The Age newspaper has reported on the increasing use of electronic sound masking systems in open plan offices in order to improve speech privacy. With the trend for passive ventilation in many new office buildings, background noise levels are low and occupant compaints are on the increase.
