Cornelius (Neil) Huybregts
Neil Huybregts is an Associate with the Melbourne office specialising in community noise impact assessment and environmental noise control.
Neil is one of Australia's leading experts in community noise impact assessment and environmental noise control, having played a central role in noise impact assessments for many major development projects in Victoria. Neil has also participated in environmental noise policy development for EPA Victoria, the Victorian Department of Infrastructure, the Docklands Authority, the Tasmanian and South Australian governments and VicRoads.
Neil was responsible for developing our method for risk analysis of road traffic noise barriers. Neil has extensive knowledge of currently available environmental noise prediction models, having undertaken detailed evaluations for VicRoads and Austraods, as well as beta testing for the Bruel & Kjaer Predictor software.
