Graham Warren

Graham Warren is a Senior Associate with the Auckland office of Marshall Day specialising in environmental noise assessment, quantification and control.

Graham joined Marshall Day Acoustics in 1995 following over thirty years of involvement in local government environment protection work, specialising in environmental acoustics.  He has qualifications in public health and noise assessment and control.  

His activities at Marshall Day Acoustics have focused on the preparation of Assessments of Environmental Effects for projects such as new highways, ports, railways, quarries, schools, and many other industrial and commercial activities, and also the preparation and review of District Plan noise controls for a number of local authorities throughout New Zealand. 

Graham has presented expert evidence at a large number of Environment Court and Local Authority Resource Management Act application hearings and regularly undertakes reviews of AEE's for local Councils.

Graham also has extensive involvement in the formulation, review and associated planning tasks related to the development of District Plan noise provisions and rules for a number of Local Authorities.  Graham has also had extensive involvement in the development of the new Road Traffic Noise Standard, NZS 6806 Acoustics - Road Traffic Noise - New and Altered Roads.

Graham has strong enthusiasm for the arts; music, literature and visual and is actively involved in outdoor adventure activities including tramping and sailing and has travelled widely.
