Joanne Valentine
Joanne Valentine is an Associate with the Auckland office, specialising in building acoustics
Joanne holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Auckland. After graduating in 1983, Joanne joined Marshall Day Acoustics and worked in the area of room acoustics on various projects including the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. After a leave of absence for raising her family she rejoined Marshall Day Associates in 1994.
Joanne has comprehensive acoustical knowledge combined with the creative skills from her architectural training. She has excellent technical skills and is an experienced user of the acoustic modelling software package ODEON.
Joanne has extensive experience in room acoustic design, sound insulation and mechanical noise control for a wide range of projects including auditoria, theatres, performing arts centres and educational facilities.
