VICTORIA PARK TUNNEL, Auckland, New Zealand

Victoria Park Tunnel (VPT) is the third of three priority projects - known collectively as the Central Motorway Improvements - to be recently undertaken in central Auckland.

DUKE ENERGY POWER STATION, Bairnsdale, Australia

Noise from the first 45MW IHI LM6000 gas turbine located at Bairnsdale, Australia, generated excessive noise levels when operating at loads of 20 and 30MW. At a load of 40MW the acoustically treated plant complied with the project noise level of 37dBA at a distance of 750m, but at low loads the equipment generated excessive noise levels.

DANDENONG RAIL CORRIDOR, Victoria, Australia

In order to improve peak-hour services on the Pakenham rail line in Melbourne, the Victorian Department of Infrastructure proposed to construct a third track between Caulfield and Dandenong, together with stabling facilities at Pakenham and Cranbourne.
