SUR INDEPENDENT POWER PROJECT, Oman

The gas-fired Sur Independent Power Plant (IPP) will be the largest power plant in Oman, representing approximately 40% of Oman’s installed power capacity when it comes fully on-stream in 2014.

DUBLIN METRO NORTH, Ireland

Dublin Metro North is to be a new underground line connecting Dublin Airport to the City Centre. It will consist of two deep bore tunnels which will run under the city to the airport and eventually transition to 'cut and cover' with the final section above ground. The route of Metro North will be 16.5kms long and have 14 stops.

GRAND CANAL THEATRE, Dublin, Ireland

Opened in March 2010 the Grand Canal Theatre is a brand new 2,111 capacity purpose built theatre, designed by world renowned architect Daniel Libeskind.

GUANGZHOU OPERA HOUSE, China

Marshall Day Acoustics was selected for this project as part of a rigorous tendering process and the result is a beautiful asymmetrical auditorium design with the acclaimed London based architect, Zaha Hadid, who won the design competition in 2003.

BHP APPIN COLLIERY, NSW, Australia

Following the catastrophic collapse of the motor cooling fans on several underground mining pump sets, Marshall Day Acoustics was asked to investigate the reasons for their failure in service. The pumps involved were mounted in sets of three and four on mobile carts, used underground to supply emulsion oil to Longwall mining machinery at BHP Appin Colliery, Appin, NewSouth Wales.
