We are the distributing agents for the SoundPLAN noise mapping software package in Australia and New Zealand. This partnership with SoundPLAN GmbH of Germany includes provision of technical support and modelling expertise to clients.
SoundPLAN is a complete software package offering a full spectrum of noise evaluation modules, with quick and accurate calculation and high-quality graphics. Comprehensive studies of large areas and multiple sources can be completed efficiently and cost-effectively using this modelling software.
SoundPLAN’s software is a 3D graphics-oriented program. It hosts a digitiser interface, where you can import bitmaps or PDFs to build and import 3D objects and perform powerful functions. Users can produce colour plots and tabulations of the input data and results. The software also includes a wall/barrier design optimisation utility, an industrial noise control module and a room acoustics module enabling the calculation of acoustical parameters such as STI, EDT, RT, Clarity etc.
