company history
Marshall Day Acoustics was formed in Auckland, New Zealand by Christopher Day and Sir Harold Marshall in 1981, with Peter Fearnside becoming the third partner and founding Marshall Day Acoustics in Australia in 1987.
Many of the technical innovations and industry-leading acoustic design tools for which Marshall Day Acoustics has become widely respected have been led by Keith Ballagh, who became a partner in 1990.
From our beginnings as a local consultancy, we have carefully evolved into one of the largest acoustic engineering consultancies worldwide.
