Chiaki Fenemore

Chiaki began working as a consultant in the Hamilton office in 2022. In 2023, he completed a PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Auckland, with a thesis titled “Acoustics of cross-laminated timber”. Previously, he has worked with Dotterel Technologies on a Callaghan Innovation grant investigating noise from UAVs (drones).

Chiaki’s interest in acoustics grew from music. He has experience playing and teaching guitar in a wide variety of jazz/theatre ensembles and  enjoys experimenting with other instruments, including piano and bass guitar.
