Christchurch Justice & Emergency Services Precinct
The Christchurch Justice and Emergency Services Precinct is a milestone project for the rebuild of Christchurch city, following the 2011 earthquakes.
This government-funded project was catalysed by the Christchurch Blueprint for Recovery. The project brief sought a spatial co-existence of various civic sectors whilst maintaining certain levels of separation, due to required security of particular programmes.
Acoustically, this integration of various uses created challenges which required innovative solutions and high levels of detail management.
