OUR SCOPE
Marshall Day Acoustics was engaged to provide full acoustic consulting services throughout the planning, design and construction phases. Our involvement began in 2018, supporting the town planning process with detailed acoustic assessments and documentation. We continued to provide design advice through to project completion in early 2021.
Challenges
The site’s location directly adjacent to the RSPCA kennels presented a significant acoustic challenge. To obtain town planning approval and manage potential noise impacts, an innovative façade design was required. Our design solution addressed and mitigated environmental noise without compromising on natural light and access to outdoor spaces for residents.
