Our Scope
Marshall Day Acoustics is responsible for all acoustic aspects of the project, from initial briefing through detailed design and construction phase support, to commissioning measurements.
CHALLENGES
One of the main challenges is achieving acoustic quality in the rooms, which must meet luxury hotel standards to ensure residents can rest in a place dedicated to calm and rejuvenation. Areas generating noise and vibration, such as the gym, swimming pools, spa, kitchens and plant rooms must be carefully assessed.
Acoustic excellence, as requested by the client, must integrate seamlessly with the interior design by Matteo Thun, while also meeting BDM Gold and Ecrains requirements. Noise mitigation for the large external heating and cooling equipment is another key challenge, as the centre is located in a particularly quiet environment and the scale of the equipment requires tailored acoustic treatment solutions planned early in the design process.
