CDHB Acute Services Building

This significant expansion to the existing Christchurch Hagley Hospital provides state-of-the-art healthcare facilities to the community.

It features a multitude of specialist surgical wards, allowing the DHB to perform 6,000 more surgeries per year, and an expanded helicopter pad to make patient transfers more efficient. Structurally, the building is base isolated, which requires complex junction and mechanical detailing.
