MCG Redevelopment


The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) is Australia’s largest stadium, with a capacity of just under 100,000, it is one of the world’s iconic stadia. The AUD $400 m redevelopment involved rebuilding of about 55% of the stadium's ground. The project incorporates the Northern Stand, which completes the redevelopment.

Our Scope

Marshall Day Acoustics was involved in all aspects of the room acoustics, sound insulation and noise control for the new Northern Stand and designed the new distributed sound system for the complete ground.
