Our Scope
Marshall Day Acoustics was the lead acoustic engineer on the project and helped the design team ensure that successful teaching outcomes could be achieved in high noise environments. We undertook commissioning measurements which showed compliance with the project specification.
CHALLENGES
The facility houses high-noise industrial workshops alongside classrooms and teaching spaces, requiring robust sound isolation to ensure successful teaching outcomes in these environments. Marshall Day worked with the design team to develop acoustic linings and treatments that managed noise transmission from workshops while maintaining the desired exposed structural and services aesthetic.
