SymphonIA

Designed by Février Carré Architects, SymphonIA is a 10,000m² office development that exemplifies environmental best practice.

Located in the heart of the Sophia Antipolis Technology Park, the project was designed to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding pine forest and existing topography. Sustainability Features

Demolition and site remediation were carried out using sustainable methods, resulting in the reuse of 540 materials and a saving of 162 tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions.

The design focused on minimising environmental impact through:

  • Use of low-carbon materials

  • Installation of photovoltaic panels for on-site energy generation

  • Building footprints limited to existing areas to prevent additional soil sealing

An ecologist was engaged to conduct environmental analyses and provide guidance throughout both the design and construction phases.

Our Scope

Marshall Day Acoustics was engaged to manage all acoustics aspects of the project.

Our scope included pre-construction site measurements, design and construction phase advice, and post-construction testing to support the project’s BREEAM certification.
