La Stella Performing Arts Centre
Built on the former site of a school complex and a big top, the new “La Stella” performance hall in La Trinité stands out as a true cultural driving force for the town. Initiated by Mayor Ladislas Polski, the venue will host a rich and varied program - concerts, dance performances, theatre productions, municipal events, and exhibitions.
Designed for versatility, La Stella can accommodate 500 seated spectators in a classic stage configuration, 350 in a large-stage setup, and up to 1,000 people in concert mode, making it a vibrant and adaptable space for all forms of artistic expression.

Our Scope
Marshall Day Acoustics was responsible for all acoustics aspects of the project.
The Hall
The hall’s acoustics have been carefully designed to deliver exceptional sound quality across a wide range of uses - including theatre, music, dance, film, and conferences. The volume of the space and the choice of materials were optimised to support every possible configuration, whether the retractable seating or the movable proscenium is in use or not.
The undersides of the balconies and the guardrails were shaped to create lateral reflections that enhance clarity and sound immersion. A variable acoustic system further allows the reverberation time to be adjusted as needed, particularly for amplified performance configurations.
