Matthew Ottley
Matthew Ottley is a Senior Associate with the Sydney office specialising in environmental noise control, building and room acoustics, mechanical services and industrial noise control.
He graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical) with Honours in 2000 and has over 25 years of experience in consulting acoustics, working in Sydney since 1998, before joining Marshall Day in 2014.
Matthew has had involvement in a wide range of projects including performing arts, education, hospitality, commercial, civic, industrial, transport and infrastructure. He has provided expert evidence, both for individual parties and as a joint expert, in matters relating to environmental and building acoustics in the Land and Environment Court of NSW and the Supreme Court of NSW. Matthew currently serves as Vice Chair on the Board of the Association of Australasian Acoustical Consultants (AAAC).
